What is a Reiki Facial and how is it different?
A Reiki Facial combines a fully customized skincare treatment with Reiki energy healing. While your skin is being treated with professional products and techniques, I'm also working on your body's energy field to reduce stress and promote deep relaxation. Is a facial good for acne-prone skin?
Absolutely — in fact, professional facials are one of the most effective treatments for acne-prone skin. I'll customize the treatment to address your specific type of acne (hormonal, cystic, congestion, etc.) and recommend a home care routine to support your results.
What should I avoid before and after a facial?
Before: avoid exfoliating for 48 hours prior, and let me know if you're using retinol or prescription skin medications. After: avoid heavy makeup, sun exposure, and active exfoliants for 24 hours. Your skin will be in prime absorption mode, so it's a great time to use a good serum and SPF.
